Drunk Witch’s Cauldron
Double, double toil and trouble; cheap vodka burns and champagne bubbles. Yet with this tasty mix, all will enjoy and get his (or her) fix. With an eye of newt and toe of frog, watch as your drink begins to fog. Everyone at your Halloween party will have a ball, yet be careful—the freshmen may fall.
1 1.75 L Bottle of Vodka
1 1.75 L Bottle of Rum
1 750 ml Bottle of Triple Sec
1 750 ml Bottle of DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker
1 750 ml Bottle of Champagne
2 Gallons of Hawaian Punch
1 2 L Bottles of Sprite or 7 Up
5-15 lbs of Food Grade Dry Ice
Purchase your dry ice shortly before the event and keep in a cooler until using. Do not put in your freezer, as the extreme temperature of the dry ice could destroy it.
As your party begins to take off, place the dry ice carefully into the cauldron using safety gloves or tongs. It will burn you if your skin touches it.
As guests arrive add the ingredients. Alcohol first, then Hawaian Punch and soda to taste. The initial fog will be the most dense as the ice will vaporize most rapidly while the beverages are at room temperature. As they chill, the ice will turn to fog more slowly.
To serve, use your ladle and pour into glasses. Be careful not to touch the dry ice with the ladle or pour the dry ice into any of the serving glasses.
