Ham and Cheese Baguettes, 4.4 out of 5 based on 5 ratings Print Recipe

Feeling fancy? Try these ham and cheese baguettes that will add a touch of elegance to any party.

  • 1 Loaf of French Baguette Bread

  • 4 Ounces of Sliced Ham

  • 4 Ounces of Sliced Cheddar Cheese (Try Double Gloucester Cheese if you're feeling fancy)

  1. Preheat your oven or toaster oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Slice the bread into quarter inch thick slices. Place the slices directly on to the oven rack. They will begin slowly toasting.

  2. Meanwhile, slice your ham and cheese into smaller pieces, about 1 square inch or so. Open the oven and place these slices onto the bread; cheese first- it will hold the ham onto the bread when complete.

  3. Let toast for another 3 to 5 minutes until the cheese and bread are a desired consistency.

  4. Arrange neatly on a plate and serve! Your guest will be delightfully impressed.
